This year marked the 40th anniversary of the MLK day of celebration hosted in Lansing by the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commission of Mid-Michigan. Local 459 has a long history of support for this event and are proud of the efforts to build community and equality. The event provides a valuable opportunity to forge relationships over various industries to coordinate and create meaningful change!
